Swedish energy and heat producer Vattenfall used state of the art image recognition, real time user data and APIs to create banner ads capable of adapting content based on the on-screen image. The ads first appeared on Sweden’s largest real estate website, which features thousands of new images of homes and interior design and attracts more than two million visitors a day. Whether users viewed images of swimming pools, bedrooms, driveways or patios, a specific ad pitched one of Vattenfall’s related services. |
