Brief | Every Young’s pub has its own story and is unique to its local community. The mission was to create signs with stories for pubs with a soul. Working with selected illustrators, the designers handcrafted 120 signs that were unconventional and idiosyncratic, yet refreshingly modern. Each one told a story: “The Castle” sign reflects the pub’s history as a theatre through stage lights, while “The Albion” sign in Fleet Street was created using traditional linocut techniques to reflect the area’s past in print and publishing. |
