Title | Würst branding |
Brief | By turning hot dogs into haute dogs, celebrity chef Jeroen Meus wanted to take an ordinary street snack to new culinary heights. The agency came up with the name Würst: a bold brand name that called for a typographic logo exuding austerity, clarity and strength. An umlaut was added for extra distinctiveness and “Germanic effect”. It was also distilled into a typographic brand icon. The illustrations and collages were inspired by the work of German graphic arts master Albrecht Dürer. |
