TitleWürst branding
BriefBy turning hot dogs into haute dogs, celebrity chef Jeroen Meus wanted to take an ordinary street snack to new culinary heights. The agency came up with the name Würst: a bold brand name that called for a typographic logo exuding austerity, clarity and strength. An umlaut was added for extra distinctiveness and “Germanic effect”. It was also distilled into a typographic brand icon. The illustrations and collages were inspired by the work of German graphic arts master Albrecht Dürer.
