Story | At the peak of the climate issue, the Swedish energy company Göteborg Energi made an unexpected move with a provocative message. Instead of talking about everyone needing to do more for the climate, Göteborg Energi flipped the script and said: Do less! By doing less – shopping less, eating less meat, using less plastic, taking fewer long-distance trips, and of course, using electricity smarter – we can actually do more for the climate. Additionally, the campaign reached an international audience, including France's largest morning show TéléMatin and delegates at the United Nations Climate Conference COP28. Results: Awareness: 71%, Knowledge: 96%, Likability: 47%, Residents of Göteborg reduced their electricity usage by 17%. |
