Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
International awards require diverse and international jury members to cut through the social nuances and support the international creative community.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
"If it doesn't sell, then it is not creative”. I think it is important to involve everyone involved in the visual communication process.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
Brilliant idea, it will encourage more great work to be entered risk free and makes the job of the jury more challenging and fun at the same time.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
The perfect PHNX Award winner work must be ORE (Original, Relevant and Exciting). Original meaning no clichés, spoofs or proactive work (unless it is a category of its own) - Relevant to its specific target audience whilst being Exiting enough to evoke an emotional response which leads to a predetermined action.
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
A.I. Artificial Inteligence.
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
Cant really tell till i have had the chance to see the shortlisted work.
