Title | Migration |
Brief | To convey the incredible level of detail enabled by Sony's Alpha 7 camera, Framstore's VFX artists travelled to South Africa with director Dan DiFelice to track down the elusive black wildebeest. Framestore’s heritage in creature design allowed a hero wildebeest to populate an entire herd. It also gave the director maximum flexibility to compose the piece’s sequence of "impossible" shots. Other work included matte paintings, enhancing and replacing skies, and adding layer upon layer of dust and debris around the creatures. |
