TitleThe Bookcase for Tolerance (135s)
BriefWe turned Anne Frank's iconic bookcase into an AR app. After rotating it, users could step inside her room and the rooms of four young people facing discrimination today - becoming familiar with their stories by examining personal objects and the meaning behind them. Each room was carefully scanned using photogrammetry to create 3D-rendered, true-to-life models, allowing users to explore their experiencies in strikingly realistic fashion. The app quickly became a central piece for discussion in Dutch society, a subject for debate in classrooms across Europe and a permanent educational platform at the Anne Frank House – helping fight discrimination through education.
