Brief | As OMO, in cooperation with Migros, we established a mechanism in the store to reduce the use of new plastics and ensure the reuse of existing plastics, and we achieved a project that spread to large masses, starting with Migros customers.OMO #Refill project is an innovative project that includes its target group in the upcycling movement and creates awareness. It addresses many problems from the economy to the environment and contributes to recycling by ensuring that empty bottles are refilled and reused.At MMM Migros Ataşehir Store, we have set up a mechanism where people can fill empty OMO liquid detergent bottles in the store and reuse them.Overall OMO sales were increased by 191%. OMO liquid detergents purchased from the Refill Point accounted for 62% of the total sales. Migros started a campaign inviting everyone, especially its customers, to reduce its plastic footprint and get involved in recycling. |
