I got a journalism degree because I wanted to be an investigative reporter. But it wasn't creative enough for me. Thank heavens I bumped into Richard Weiss, a friend from Rider College. He was an Art Director for JRA Associates. He told me how cool advertising was as a career. I took his word for it -- and thus began a 25+ year career.
I have worked in virtually every product category -- with the exception of cars. I've sold beer, wireless phones, Coca-Cola, travel, shampoo, a baseball team, a bank, and much, much more.
Currently, I'm helping change the way medical advertising is created. It's a huge undertaking. But with a little creativity and a lot of hard work, I'm confident change will happen. For the better.
