"Walsh Trott Chick Smith is the third agency that bears the Trott name.
Ten years after being the first person John Webster hired for BMP's creative department, Dave left his post of Creative Director to found Gold Greenless Trott (GGT). Two years later GGT was voted agency of the year by Campaign and in 1984 the agency was voted most creative agency in the world by Ad Age in New York, and became a publicly quoted company. During these years Dave created some infintely famous campaigns for Pepsi, Ariston & Lurpak to name but a few. In 1990 he left GGT to found Bainsfair Sharkey Trott with the joint managing directors of Saatchi & Saatchi. By 1994 BST had grown to become a top 30 agency, but disillusioned with the company's French owners, BDDP, he left to found Walsh Trott Chick Smith."
