As Executive Director of VML Chicago, Jane is responsible for leading and growing our Chicago-based team. She’s an agency veteran, with close to 25 years experience leading teams of diverse professionals and helping brands connect with consumers. Jane joined Biggs|Gilmore in 1993, and was instrumental in transitioning this regional traditional agency into a digitally centric marketing organization focused on building CPG brands. She helped Biggs|Gilmore gain industry recognition, securing the title of AdAge Agency of the Year in 2010, as well as Top Agency in the 2011 and 2012 WebAwards. In 2014, the agency became fully integrated into VML’s network, and Jane, along with business partner, Mike Gerfen, assumed roles on our executive leadership team. Jane oversees the activities of each of the agency?s core disciplines and ensures that the company stays true to its mission. She is actively engaged with several agency accounts. With experience in communications since 1981, she has supervised account teams and provided counsel on marketing and sales strategies for clients including Steelcase, Procter & Gamble, Pfizer, and Zimmer. Before joining Biggs|Gilmore in 1993, Jane was director of marketing for a Michigan-based health-care system. She is a graduate of Michigan State University.
