Half Lebanese, half Turkish, and a naturalized Bahraini, Tarek Miknas was destined for the world of advertising. With a Communications degree from California State University, Fullerton (1997), he embarked on a career that has seen him shape and redefine the industry across the Middle East and North Africa.
Tarek began as an art director at McCann, New York, where he honed his creative skills. Six years later, he joined FP7McCann in Dubai, immersing himself in account management, growth strategies, and corporate communications.
In 2006, Tarek co-founded Lowe MENA with three partners, establishing a distinctive agency that made an immediate impact. Within just 11 months, the team garnered multiple awards and expanded rapidly, growing from a team of four sitting on beanbags to 96 employees across three new markets within four years.
By 2010, Tarek was appointed CEO of the FP7 Network for the Middle East and North Africa. Under his leadership, FP7 has consistently ranked as the Most Effective Agency and Network of the Year at the MENA Effies for eight consecutive years. Globally, FP7McCann has been recognized as the Most Effective Agency of the Year three times in the past five years. Today, FP7McCann is a dominant force, consistently ranked among the top three agencies in every market where it operates.
