Jonathan Gurvit started his career in February 2000 when he joined DDB Argentina as a Junior Art Director.
In 2002 he moves to Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi. During this period he was responsible for Pamper’s creative transformation in Latin America, he turned the Buenos Aires Zoo into an internationally recognized brand, and won his first TV Gold Lion with “Little Bird” for Parque de la Costa Theme Park.
In 2004 Jonathan became Creative Director at Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi and developed the “Pampers.com” campaign, which won, among other awards, Pampers (P&G) first Cannes Lion.
In the beginning of 2005, Vega Olmos Ponce offered Jonathan to join Lowe´s VegaOlmosPonce, working for brands such as Lynx, Rexona and Visa.
In 2006 he had the chance of returning to Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, this time as Executive Creative Director and Head of Art of the whole agency, and won with the Ariel “Route” Billboard, P&G’s first Gold Lion at Cannes for Saatchi & Saatchi.
He handled regional and international brands, such as P&G’s Pampers, Ariel throughout the region, Tide for US market & Warner Channel. Also local brands such as the Buenos Aires Zoo, CTI Mobile (CLARO), Royal & Sun Alliance, Audi, Continental Airlines, Easy Homecenter, BGH, and Multicanal.
Two years achieving “Best Agency of Iberoamerica” according to LatinSpots.com, and 2 years in the Top Ten of the International Gunn Report made Del Campo Nazca S&S the most internationally awarded agency in Argentina.
In January 2007, he joined Ogilvy & Mather Argentina, as a Executive Creative Director and Head of Art, working for regional and international brands such as Coca Cola, Coca Cola Zero, Sprite, Sprite Zero (Winning numerous gold lions at Cannes Festival for Coca-Cola), Santander Bank, Budweiser, Huggies, Kotex, Microsoft, Dove, Tang, Clight, Milka, Panasonic, Heineken, among others.
In 2010, still working at Ogilvy, he shoot “Hair Conditiner”, his first spot as a film director for Santander Bank and won a Bronze Cannes Lion at the International Cannes Lions Festival, London International Awards, Iberoamerican Festival of Advertising (FIAP), and gold prices on the “Ojo de Iberoamerica” and CCCA (Argentinian Creative Circle).
After more than 10 years working at creative agencies, in 2011, he decides to start a new career, this time as a film director.
In his first five years as a film director he shoots commercials for Coca-Cola, Nissan, Shell, L’oreal, Sony PlayStation, Target, Nestle, MTV, Pepsi, Citroën, SwissCom, Mars, TIM Mobile, Maxcom, Texas Lottery, Renault, Toyota and Volkswagen.
Shooting worldwide for agencies like 72andSunny, Wieden and Kennedy Sao Paulo and Portland, BBH UK and Brazil, Heimat Berlin, Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Adam&Eve DDB London and DDB Argentina, Dentsu, Latinworks, Dieste, Saatchi&Saatchi Sao Paulo, Los Angeles and Buenos Aires, BBDO Chicago and Buenos Aires, Euro RSCG, Draft FCB, Y&R, MullenLowe, Iris London, Les Gaulois Paris, Armando Testa Milan and Ogilvy Argentina.
The ad "Cricket" that Mr. Gurvit shoot for Yuzu has been nominated by the CBS Network to be featured as one of the top-10 ads created outside the USA. CBS TV special that will air this spring and celebrate the very best in advertising from around the world.

In December 2011 was recognized by the Argentinian Creative Circle (CCCA) as a New Talent Director. Later on 2012 won the Gold Price on “best animation” for his spot ‘Pomba” for TIM Mobile. And on 2015 another Gold Price for the BGH comercial.
During his career Jonathan Gurvit has won 18 Cannes Lions, 20 Clios, and more than 400 awards in One Show, D&AD, New York Festivals (Grand Prix), London International Awards (LIA), El Sol de Iberoamerica, Golden Award of Montreux, The One Show, Cresta International advertising awards, Ojo de Iberoamerica, Iberoamerican Festival of Advertising (FIAP) & CCCA. Having been member of the prestigious jury of some of those festivals.
