Steve co-founded Gardner Nelson & Partners in February, 1999. Previously, he was President of Ammirati Puris Lintas, then the ninth-largest advertising agency in New York, with $1.3 billion in billings.
In his years at Ammirati, Steve led a number of major accounts, including Compaq, UPS, Epson, MasterCard, Nikon, and more. He also led the development of Ammirati?s Direct Marketing and Digital organizations. In 1996, he was named one of "The 25 Most Influential Marketers in Technology" by Advertising Age.
Previously with Ogilvy & Mather from 1977 to 1987, Steve worked extensively with General Foods and American Express.
Steve, his wife Betsy, and their three children live in New York City.
