Paul Caiozzo

Paul Caiozzo

Founder/CCO at Office of Baby
New York, United States

About me

Paul is one of the most recognized and awarded creatives in the advertising industry. He's also one of the most humble, rarely debasing himself with cheap parlor tricks like hyperbolic opening sentences.

His work has been parodied on Saturday Night Live, praised by Al Gore, debated on CNN and put on display in both The Smithsonian and The Museum of Modern Art. Memorable campaigns include "Whopper Freakout" and "Help I Want to Save a Life" both featured in the Taschen book "GameChangers" about the work that has redefined advertising. Before founding Office of Baby, Paul ran Goodby Silverstein and Partners NY. Under his leadership the agency achieved 3 straight pitch wins, created one of 2015's best and most awarded campaigns, and landed a coveted spot on Creativity Magazine's "Standouts" list. Outside of advertising, a film Paul co-wrote was chosen as an official selection at numerous film festivals, including Sundance.

Paul is currently a founder and partner of Office of Baby, a newish agency. Paul is a dual citizen of Italy and the United States, Father of two boy children, husband to one wife and haver of very little me time.

Positions

Founder + CCO
New York City, United States
October 2015 - Present (9 years 2 months)
Office of Baby is a very young agency. While we may be in our infancy, we're mature enough to work with companies like Etsy, Zocdoc, StreetEasy, Capsule, Zola, OfferUp, Google, Kiehl's and Comcast.

Before we were Office of Baby we were the founders of an unusual drug company called Help Remedies and the creators of some of the most awarded and successful advertising in advertising history. Things like Whopper Freakout, Emily's Oz, Tide's Talking Stain, Whopper Virgins and Help I Cut Myself and Want to Save a Life.

We'd love to tell you more about us, but don't think this is the best place to do that. We'd much rather hear your voice, see your face and connect with you in the real world. So get in touch via Linkedin, or better yet, drop by our offices. We're located in Soho, on the island of Manhattan.

Advertising Teacher
Pasadena, United States
January 2013 - April 2014 (1 year 3 months)
Taught advertising. Learned about feeling old. Learned that Pasadena is really, really far from the westside of Los Angeles.
SVP/Creative Director
San Francisco, United States
May 2009 - October 2011 (2 years 5 months)
There were a lot of talented people here, at both the agency and on the client side. It felt more like a wonderfully dysfunctional family than a job. We won stuff, had fun, and spent way too much time in Prague. Eat at Sansho though, when you are there.
Associate Creative Director
Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Boulder
November 2006 - May 2009 (2 years 6 months)
I helped run Burger King with some amazingly talented people. We took home the Grand Effie, won many, many awards, lowered McDonald's stock price with advertising and helped BK become client of the year. I also helped run other stuff and worked on almost everything in the building at one time or another. Best job I ever had.
