With an Instagram feed dedicated purely to his film photography, a photography book soon to be released, and an appearance in the 2017 Creative Review Photography Annual, it is fair to say Ed is a certified image and picture obsessive.
Aside from the feature film he has currently in production, Ed has made fast headway in to the music industry and has worked with artists including Ibeyi, Massive Attack, Lee Scratch Perry and more. He was credited on Ibeyi’s debut album Ash for directing all released videos, and most recently was the resident photographer in Richard Russell's studio as he embarked upon recording his debut album Everything is Recorded (XL Recordings). All photography of the contributing artists featured was taken by Ed. His music videos ‘Mad Lifeline’ for Robert del Naja (Massive Attack) and ‘Come Near Me’ for Massive Attack have both been screened at the LA’s Hammer Museum, and his Lee Scratch Perry “I AM PAINT” project with Richard Russell resulted in the release being voted as the most collectable record of the year by The Vinyl Factory.
With his varied interests and background in writing Ed brings an abundance of ideas to the table of any collaboration.
