What attracted me to Planning was the idea of problem solving, the more intractable the more I'm drawn to it. I like to try and fix the unfixable which either makes me stupid or stubborn. Thinking of creative and lateral solutions is what gets me up in the morning, that and breaking a few conventions along the way if at all possible.
I've spent the last 10 years working in healthcare, which I love, but I've also worked on cars, haircare, drinks, food - a full smorgasbord of categories. I like to think that my client side experience has equipped me with an appreciation of the commercial challenges marketers face- and what it's like to stand up in front of the board and pitch for cash.
Increasingly I choose to specialise in female insight, and I'm passionate about creating a more progressive narrative on women in society and contemporary culture.
Outside of work my interests include Film, Comedy, Food and Contemporary Art.
