Joe joined Anomaly over three years ago. Before then he spent four years creative directing all innovation projects for Ballantine’s Whisky at London digital agency Work Club. He made a whisky glass that works in zero gravity. A machine washable digital t-shirt. An Instagram whisky magazine. A huge monolithic abstract photo booth thingy in travel retail. An algorithm that made instant pop songs from Instagram photos. And the little whisky emoji that’s on your phone. He also made a booze ordering website for duty free in airports for Pernod Ricard.
Before that, he spent 6 years at WCRS doing interactive ads for the Royal Marines and The Royal Navy. As well as some big old ads for brands like Sky, Mini and 118.
He’s interested in every single media. He doesn’t care where creativity comes from, as long as it creatively solves the business problem.
