liz joined tonefarmer in the spring of 2013. she cut her teeth over the previous six years working in commercial production, most recently on staff with smuggler. music has always had a major role in her life, though, since playing violin from age four in north carolina. so dismissing any and all warnings about getting into the music industry, she's happy to have brought things full circle.
lucky enough to be exposed so early, liz played whenever she could, even teaching a bit in high school. but once at the university of michigan, she pulled a dumb teenage move and outright quit. without the daily outlet, political science was frustrating to say the least. so she changed her focus to film, which eventually brought her to new york. now happily separated from the cutthroat world of high school auditions, she plays in the band industries of the blind, instead channeling her competitive energy to strategy-based board games. otherwise, long walks on the beach, disturbing comedy, and carrot cake are totally her jam.
