About me

Over the past 13 years Richard has worked as a commercials director, both internationally and in the UK. He has directed award winning ads for Umbro as well as high profile spots for Toyota, Lexus, Saudi Aramco, B&Q, New Zealand Lamb & The Scottish Government, amongst many others.
Richard is also known for his large scale video installation work, directing ‘The Life of St Paul’s’ – a 24 projector immersive film situated permanently in the crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral in London. The film won the Design Week award for best exhibition design.
In 2012 Richard directed the Olympic Moments video installation at The Royal Opera House and also completed another large scale immersive film, ‘Our Beautiful Game’ for the National Football Museum.
In 2013 he shot a series of stunning documentary films for the McLaren F1 team and the global TV campaign for Visit Scotland.
