Ariel Soto is a 16-year experience creative.
Actually he’s VP & Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Mexico.
Graduated from the University of Guadalajara, he started as a copywriter in Saatchi & Saatchi.
His work has been awarded in Cannes Lions Festival, The One Show, FIAP, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, New York Festivals, Circulo de Oro and the EFFIES.
He is one of the few creatives from Mexico who has been jury for Cannes Lions twice. 2016 and 2018. Both times in the Film category.
He’s been jury for El Ojo de Iberoamerica festival (Three occasions: Film, Press and Outdoor).
Also Jury for the Ciclope International craft festival.
President of jury at the Circulo de Oro Festival, for Film, Health and P.R. categories.
Ariel has developed creative work for several brands such as PSPSICO, Frito-Lay (Sabritas), Mars, Essity, Ab InBev, Mercedes Benz, Devlyn, Bacardi, José Cuervo, Nestlé, Michelin, Visa, Aeromexico, P&G, McDonald’s, Greenpeace and The Mexican Heatlh Ministry.
