"Mwamerika"

Mr. Njoroge, who is popularly known as Mwamerika is a retired truck driver who transported Nyayo Milk- which was commonly referred to as 'Maziwa Ya Nyayo'- a Kenyan school milk programme that lasted 20 years between 1979 and 1998 and was a commodity that many school going children considered so precious. He delivered the milk to each and every corner of this nation for the whole 20 years the programme was in existence. He retired from active truck driving in '98 when the programme ended and has been operating a small garage since then.
