Holly Pavlika

SVP, Marketing & Content at Collective Bias
New York, United States

About me

I started my career in sales promotion and from there I jumped to direct marketing then digital and now social media/influencer marketing. I’ve been the Chief Creative Officer, Executive Creative Director, Founder, Partner, Managing Director, Network Manager and a myriad of other titles over the years for those who care about titles. I’ve been at small shops and big agencies and even had my name on the door of not one, but three companies, which not many women can say. But I love the pace and energy of entrepreneurial companies best.

As Collective Bias’ SVP of Marketing & Content, I oversee all our marketing, creative team, PR efforts and content creation.

Prior to Collective Bias, I was the Executive Creative Director and at one point Managing Director at Big Fuel, a pure play social media agency. While there I founded a marketing blog called MOMentumNation that centered on teaching brands how to create marketing that resonated with moms by leveraging social media. The blog led to discovering a passion for social good and getting involved with the United Nations Shot@Life, 10X10 Educate Girls, Every Mother Counts and Global Poverty Project.

Although I began as an art director over time I’ve become a writer having written several white papers and contributed to publications like Media Post Engaged Moms & CPG, Mashable and CMO, to name a few. Along the way, I’ve been honored with a few awards including a lifetime achievement award for creativity–the Wunderman Award and the DMA Silver Apple Award for the contributions to the industry. I’ve had Effies, Addys and more on my mantel, but threw them away. Crazy, eh? My favorite win was for sweeping a Klout March Madness contest to be selected the most influential agency voice after tweeting for eight days straight. That is too much tweeting for anyone!
