By day, I am the managing partner and creative force behind Mythos, a full-service video production agency in Madison, WI. In addition, I'm the Director of Video Production at Blend Marketing. By night, I’m the owner of Bravebird films, a creative think tank my wife and I run to experiment, produce, and direct stories we love. We recently completed our first competitive short film, "Fantasy in D Minor," which is currently in consideration for several US film festivals.
As Director and Managing Partner, I lead video development for both small and big ideas and work within an awesome creative team to bring those ideas to life through innovative and artful cinema. I have previously worked for New Line Cinema, Time Warner Cable, USA Network, Universal Studios, and the Coca-Cola Co. I mainly work in four verticals: tech, tourism, health, and education. However, over the past five and half years, my work has distinctly focused on the rising epidemic of drug addiction sweeping our nation, as well as depicting the preservation and conservation of indigenous cultural identities and nature restoration efforts.
My visual style has focused on human consciousness and our immediate responsibilities in the spaces we inhabit. I have an ability to connect with people through film by focusing on a cinematic language that breathes wonder and hope. My style has received critical acclaim, and many of my pieces have gone on to receive prestigious accolades in the multi-media and advertising worlds, including three American Advertising Awards and the NCLR Alma Award. In another lifetime, I was a professional actor (SAG). During that time I was exposed to some of Hollywood’s best, including Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Michael Preece, Joe Camp, and David Koepp. My experience as an actor has greatly influenced my directing style and approach.
Originally a California boy, I now reside and work in Madison, WI where my wife and I enjoy hiking in nature and watching spectacular sunsets.
