A creative thinker with a deep understanding of global insights, Shreya brings a wide array of talents to Deutsch. She is what we like to call a ‘Boomeranger’. Her first stint at Deutsch began in 2013 as VP, Planning Director. She later left to join Publicis on the CitiBank business as SVP, Strategy Director. She ‘boomeranged’ her way back to Deutsch in 2017 as SVP, Group Strategy Director and currently oversees strategy for PNC Bank and assists in new business initiatives.
In her early career, Shreya sharpened her skills as a “future trend forecaster” of sorts, working at companies like Iconoculture (the global consumer trends company, now part of Gartner) and Now What. She was heavily involved in strategy and innovation projects across the board for brands such as Pfizer and Hershey’s. She spent time at Hall & Partners designing and conducting qualitative research.
Shreya’s knack for global perspective is rooted in her experience working abroad. She started her career based in Mumbai and New Delhi, India. She worked on a number of marketing and sales programs for Times Group (Bennett Coleman and Co.), and as Marketing Manager at Sony Music Entertainment managing promotions and new artist releases like Beyoncé and John Mayer for the Indian subcontinent. An academic geek, Shreya has two graduate degrees from Warwick University (UK) and The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Outside of her work, Shreya founded The Little Warrior initiative, which helps address the consequences of child sexual abuse through education and counseling.
