Néstor Villegas began his career in advertising as a creative art director for the brand Coca Cola and its products at the McCann Erickson Bogotá agency. After completing his studies in creativity and art direction, he joined the creative team at Sancho Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi where he served as creative art director sr.
With Sancho's merger with BBDO holding, Néstor took on a new stage in his career with the
graphic and creative direction developing a very relevant work locally and globally for Pepsi and its products and led the communication of other brands such as Saab Miller, General Motors, El Tiempo newspaper, Quaker, among others.
Néstor participated in BBDO University's training models in the creative, strategic and digital fields, was a delegate at the Cannes advertising festival and collaborated as a jury in creativity contests at local and international levels. During his career, Nestor has won awards at major advertising festivals that recognize creativity and effectiveness.
In 2012 Néstor was invited to be part of the Fly Garage Mondelēz; an incubator of ideas based in Argentina where a team made up of creatives, strategists, engineers and students meets to create regional communication platforms that will be implemented in Latin America for the brands of Mondelēz Int. +Castro innovation house + Contagious Insider + Hyper Island
Néstor served for several years as a teacher of the creativity diploma at Brother, the Argentine creativity school based in Bogotá and was co-founder and Executive Creative Director at Bengala, a digital agency where he led a strategic and creative team that created communication solutions for various brands like Avis, Berlitz, USAID, Hasbro, and others, based on innovation, technology and strategic thinking.
Néstor is currently the founder of Symple, a digital communication and branding studio that faces these challenging moments in the communications industry with a fresh proposal that is based on making communication something simpler, more effective, inclusive and honest.
