Michael Cristian Greene is an award-winning Film & TV director. Born and raised in Houston Texas, Michael often lost himself in writing fiction stories as a young kid. His childhood friends were subject to be the characters in his stories which were later filmed with his parent's digital camera and premiered to his friends and their families throughout the neighborhood. After high school, Michael attended Texas A&M University. Though he was initially set on a career in business, Michael grew more attached to the idea of working in the motion picture industry. During his summer breaks, Michael would travel to Los Angeles and work as a production assistant on film and TV sets. Occasionally casted as an actor, Michael had the opportunity to work closer under the guidance of directors such as Tim Burton on films like Alice in Wonderland. This eventually inspired Michael to write and direct his own work. After graduating with a degree in Business, Michael left Texas to pursue a career in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. Over the years working in Los Angeles, Michael adapted his style for storytelling and applied it to TV and commercial content, directing for some of the world’s largest brands including Sony, Microsoft, VOGUE, Gucci, Toyota, and in recent years after moving to Sydney has produced content for companies like Telstra, Facebook Meta, Asics, The Australian Olympics, Woolworths and Google. Michael has received the Gold Lion for best TV commercial at the London Film Awards, has won Best Film Director from the St Tropez International Film Festival, and has received the prestigious Innovator Award twice from the Summit Awards in New York. He is the Director and Writer for “Classified”, an original cyber security awareness series that has recently won the Judges Award at this year’s Public Sector Innovation Awards.
Michael spends his time between LA and Sydney Australia. He is also an accredited Australian Director’s Guild member.
