With a foundation in creative technology and design, Rachel is an award-winning design and strategy leader that has spent over a decade both working in and leading multidisciplinary teams to create groundbreaking new products, services, and experiences which transform businesses relationships with their customers.
Prior to Proto, Rachel served as the VP, Head of Strategy in R/GA’s flagship New York office, where she led the CX and future vision for clients like Verizon, Ally Financial, Beam Suntory, Michaels, and Unilever. Prior to R/GA Rachel was leading digital transformation and consulting projects at agencies like Deutsch and innovation consulting studios The Upside and Made by Many.
While at Made by Many, she co-developed Hackaball, an educational product that teaches children the principles of programming through play. Hackaball was named one of TIME Magazine’s “Best Inventions of 2015.” Rachel has guided clients such as Adidas, Nintendo, Allstate, Google, Target, ABinBev, PNC, and Volkswagen to transformational and sustained success.
Named a “game-changer” by Forbes, “one of the most creative people in the industry” by Business Insider and a “disruptor” by the Drum, Rachel holds a master’s degree in creative technology and a B.S in interactive media and design from Northeastern University. When not in the office, Rachel can be found sketching in the Museum of Natural History, birding in Central Park, or with her nose stuck in a book.
