Driven by an innate love for storytelling and an unwavering optimism, Nishant's romance with advertising began well before his iconic mustache made its debut. Armed with an MBA in Marketing and an unofficial degree in striking conversations with strangers, he has evolved from a once-bullied production assistant navigating the bustling streets of Mumbai to becoming an acclaimed creative force and mentor on the international stage.

Nishant's advertising odyssey has led him through the doors of esteemed agencies such as Publicis Groupe, JWT, MullenLowe, 60LayersofCake, and Bates, where he has crafted notable campaigns for worldwide brands including Unilever, Nike, RedBull, INFINITI, Amazon, Edgewell, KFC, Pepsi, Qatar Airways, Al Jazeera, and Nokia.

Known for his expertise in clinching pitches, his creativity has been lauded with awards and recognition at prestigious festivals like Cannes Lions, One Show, Spikes Asia, Adfest, Dubai Lynx, Cristal Europe, Adstars, The Andy’s, Webby, Effie Asia, Lisbon International Festival, ACC Japan, and Goafest India. My experience with this powerhouse can be best described with an anagram. The tightrope walk between 'reactive' and 'creative' is often the difference between a good and a great creative unit. While in the throes of a pandemic, where marketing teams were reacting more than creating - we saw an opportunity to use tech and data to enhance our creative product. In 2022, Publicis Groupe Japan was honored with the coveted Creative Agency Of The Year by Campaign Asia, on the back of its creative culture, local initiatives and a string of global recognitions at the OneShow, Spikes, Cannes Lions, Adfest, The Andy's and Adstars.

My role at Publicis was to lead a global client group, while making Publicis Groupe Japan a center of excellence for Data and Technology within the creative network. This ambition was realized by being both reactive and creative, at once. Proof that every challenge is an opportunity in disguise.

This journey is an ode to the large room of creative talent, who stayed true to their craft and punched above their weight, even through the confusing times.
