There was a window in my neighbourhood that always remained shut. As a kid, I kept imagining what could be behind that window. That was my first stint with stories. Eventually stories have become craft.
I started my career as a freelance journalist with The Statesman and then spent a good number of years in main stream advertising as creative, before pursuing filmmaking. Today, am a writer director, crafting stories visually. Over the years, I have directed advertising films for numerous brands. Some of my work has been recognised in multiple awards. But my biggest reward has still been the emotions that I could evoke through my work and the hearts I have touched through the stories I have told.
And even today, the child in me looks for the closed window in and around and the professional in me crafts stories from it. Stories that touches lives, evokes emotions and makes it relatable.
