Originally a copywriter, Mário D’Andrea has worked at large agencies such as FCB, Loducca and Lowe. D’Andrea has also held the position of president for JWT Brazil and placed the agency among the most creatives ones in the country.He coordinated the communication for HSBC in all of Latin America and has created great cases for brands such as Coca-Cola, Ford, J&J, Cadbury, Kraft (Mondelez) and Nestlé, among others.In December 2010 he was chosen as Creative Professional of the Year in Prêmio Caboré, from Meio & Mensagem. In February 2014 he took on the position of CCO & President for Dentsu Brazil, where he became responsible for the communication of great brands such as Toyota, Sazón, Canon and Cup Noodles, among others.In August 2017 he became president of the Dentsu Creative Group, which is made up by the agencies Dentsu and McgarryBowen. He is also a member of the Dentsu network worldwide creative committee, where he represents Latin America.He has been a jury member at D&AD, Wave, El Ojo and FIAP, where he was president in the Film category in 2014. As Creative Director, he won the Professionals of the Year Award (Globo Network) 9 times and also won 15 Lions at the Cannes Festival.He has been a jury member in Cannes four times and, in the most recent edition of the festival (2017), he was the president of the jury in the Radio Lions category.In May/2017 he was elected President of ABAP - Brazilian Advertising Agencies Association - for a two-year term.
