Deep business experience is reflected in each strategy I help develop as well as everything I write. This experience is the result of having founded three successful companies and headed up sales and marketing in two more. In addition, I’ve been a freelance copywriter and a partner in a full-service ad agency.
As a management consultant with Ernst & Young and my own consulting firm, I’ve worked with dozens of not-for-profit and for-profit clients in financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, professional services, and other industries. I’m still actively involved in a consulting firm specializing in facilitated strategic planning.
One of my business successes was a marketing communications/custom publishing agency that grew to be a multi-million-dollar business employing 20+ people. In its early years, I was the principal writer for clients like AT&T, Sprint, CIBC Development Corporation, TD Canada Trust, Blue Cross, and others. As the business expanded, I held on to the role of content editor.
I put my eclectic experience to good use in each project. I know what questions to ask to uncover essential information. I'm able to zero in on what matters to an audience and craft interesting content that differentiates a business, resonates with buyers, and achieves specific and measurable results.
